A history of innovation
Winston's history of innovation dates back to 1969.
Ultimate control of food quality
Controlled Vapor Technology, or CVap, is a breakthrough in food science that has transformed the way the best kitchens around the world cook and hold foods.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN FOODSERVICE
Winston's ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence would not be possible without the partnerships we have cultivated with industry leaders. Each of the organizations represented below is dedicated to the advancement of the foodservice industry and the global community it serves.
School Nutrition Foundation – The SNF is dedicated to financial aid, education, professional development, and research in school foodservice resources that equip its members to efficiently serve nutritious meals to millions of school children each year. Winston Industries supports the SNF mission through annual funding of numerous programs including the Winston Equipment Grant Program designed to match equipment with need to help transform and grow a district’s feeding program.
Star Chefs – Winston Industries proudly partners with Star Chefs to help realize its mission to serve as a catalyst for culinary professionals to succeed at the highest possible standard and to give them the tools they need to meet and overcome the many challenges they face.
Global Child Nutrition Foundation – Since GCNF’s founding in 2006, Winston Industries has been a committed supporter of its global initiatives. Among the many ways the company has demonstrated its commitment is through its sponsorship of the annual A Possible Dream Gala, as well as a five-year pledge that has supported a number of activities. Winston also conceived of a partnership with GCNF to select an individual from among the Global Child Nutrition Forum delegates to serve as a Winston Industries Policy Scholar during GCNF’s Gala and SNA’s Legislative Action Conference (LAC) each March. To date, four scholars have been named and the fifth will soon be announced and will participate in LAC and the Gala in March 2011.
