What are the right settings on your equipment for my menu?
Please check the Owner’s Manual that came with your product for menu settings. For additional help, please contact your Winston representative.
How do I interpret the CVap model numbers?
Here is a guideline on how to interpret the model number on your product. Example: an HA4522 model is a Holding Cabinet that has doors, CVap electronic differential controls, a circulating fan, and a 22 cubic foot cabinet interior. You may also see some other designations at the end of the model numbers such as HR and HL for door hinging Right and Left (hinging is determined when facing the door to open it. i.e. RH indicates hinges are on the right side of the door), PT for Pass Through models (doors on both sides of the cabinet),W for windows in the doors, a number such as 3 indicating 3” casters, or A for Automatic Water Fill.

What does CVap stand for?
CVap stands for Controlled Vapor Technology. This patented technology was invented in 1980 by Winston Shelton to maintain foods at their optimal temperature and texture using a dual control system. The technology is viewed as a breakthrough in food science and has since been applied to Winston’s extensive product line.

Louise Riley Joins Winston Industries Team as Metro Dealer for Winston Idea and Innovation Center

April 2013 • Louisville, KY – Winston Industries is pleased to announce the addition of Louise Riley to the Winston Idea and Innovation Center team. She will serve as the Louisville Metro Dealer and will be responsible for exclusively selling CVap products to specific market segments in the Louisville area.
Louise has been managing restaurants and other food service outlets for over 16 years, including Radisson Hotel and, most recently, Claudia Sanders Dinner House where she was named “Outstanding General Manager” in 2008 and was recognized as Kentucky’s Restaurant Manager of the Year by the Kentucky Restaurant Association. Ms. Riley holds a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Kentucky University and is a board member of Tres Chic, a charitable group that works with Kosair Children’s Foundation to raise money for the families of Shelby County.
“Ms. Riley’s experience in the food industry will serve her well in her new position here in the Idea and Innovation Center,” said Barry Yates, Director of Innovation at Winston Industries. “Her complete knowledge of the restaurant business will undoubtedly allow her to be a successful member of the Winston team.”
