J.J. Jackson to Serve as Vice Chair, Georgia School Nutrition Association Industry Advisory Board
July, 2012 ● Louisville, KY - Winston Industries District Sales Executive J.J. Jackson has been selected as vice chair of the Georgia School Nutrition Association’s Industry Advisory Board.
Mr. Jackson will serve one year in the role of vice chair then take the reins as chair of the board. The School Nutrition Association of Georgia is a professional organization of school foodservice employees in the state of Georgia. The association works to provide professional services and training to its members in an effort to promote the health, nutrition, and education of all children, and to encourage the involvement of students and the school community in child nutrition programs. Their mission is to “advance the availability, quality, and acceptance of school nutrition programs as an integral part of education.”
“As a member of this committee, Mr. Jackson will strive to improve the nutritional and educational opportunities of all students in the state of Georgia and will position Winston Industries to provide better equipment for school meals,” said Kerrie Clifford, Marketing Manager at Winston.
